Description | Caespitose, with short runners; culm thin, more or less arched, acute, with 1 stem leaf and brown sheaths, purplish at base; leaves narrow, involute, much shorter than culm; inflorescence with 2—-8 capillary, arched branches, sometimes branched in apex, with 3-5 flowers in glomerules; floral bracts acute, ciliate; perianth leaves lanceolate, acute, dark, whitish in margin and at tip; capsule awned, shorter than perianth. | ||

Taxonomy notes | Very similar to the typical European L. arcuata, despite broad separation between ranges. |
