DescriptionStems from stout, dark rootstock; cauline leaves 3—4, viscid-pubescent on both sides; flowers 1-3, mostly solitary, fragrant; bract foliaceous; sepals about 1.5 cm long, pubescent on outer surface, the lateral free almost to base or nearly united to apex; petals yellowish-green, the upper green on outside, obtuse; lip about 2 cm long, yellowish-green to pale magenta, more or less purple-spotted inside; capsule elliptical, erect, 2-3 cm long.
EcologyWoods, bogs. Described from Alberta and Saskatchewan.
