| Taxonomy notes | A narrow-leaved form, with spur longer than lip, is common (var. angustlfolla Hook.). P. dilatata forms hybrid swarms with P. convallariaefolia on the western coast (var. chlorantha Hult., with greenish flowers) and with P. hyperborea on the North American continent. |
