Description | Glabrous dwarf shrub, densely covered with marcescent leaves at base; leaves elliptical, shiny, with prominent veins and serrated or spinulose margin; catkins on leafy peduncles, up to 4 cm long; bracts brown, with long white hairs; capsules glabrous or pubescent. Similar to S. phlebophylla (no. 5), but easily recognized by the serrated leaves. | ||
