DescriptionShrub up to 50 cm tall; young twigs pubescent, glabrescent in age; stipules ovate to ovate-lanceolate, serrated; leaves obovate, blunt, somewhat serrulated or entire, green above, distinctly glaucous below, glabrous in age, blackened in drying; cat- kins up to 7 cm long; bracts small, obovate, blunt, dark brown, with long, white hairs; capsule about 4 mm long, glaucous, with style about 0.5 mm long.
EcologyTundra, riverbanks. Described from Tunkinsk district, Baikal.
