Description | Shrub up to 2.5 meters tall, with dark, glabrous branches; young twigs white- woolly; leaves oblong-obovate, dark green above, white-woolly beneath; catkins ap- pearing at same time as leaves, on white-woolly pedicels; bracts ovate, acute, black, running to brown at base, with long, white pubescence; capsules prolonged, conical, pedicellated, densely white-woolly, with style 0.5 mm long. | ||
