Description | Erect shrub, up to 6 dm tall, with gray, hairy twigs; leaves elliptical or obovate, acute or acuminate, entire or minutely glandular-dentate on margin and silky- pubescent above when young, glaucous and with appressed hairs below; catkins on leafy peduncles; capsules with appressed pubescence; bracts obtuse, brown, silky- haired; styles about 0.3 mm long. | ||
