DescriptionStem erect or ascending, suffused with brown or purple; leaves pale green, gla- brous, the lower linear-lanceolate; inflorescence with elongated, rigid, ascending branches; valves 3-5 mm long, broadly triangular to subcordate, olivaceous to brown, entire in the margin or crenulate-erose at the base, all with a brown grain, narrower than margin.
EcologyRich, often brackish soil. Described from “Mexico circa Leon.”
