DescriptionStem erect, tall, viscid, pubescent; leaves lanceolate or ovate-lanceolate, in sterile shoots linear-lanceolate, markedly acute, pubescent on both sides and ciliated in margin; inflorescence aglomerate, terminal; sepals ovate-lanceolate, pubescent, scar- ious-margined; petals white, about 2 cm long, cleft to about one-fourth the length; capsule slender, much longer than sepals, its teeth rolled backward.
EcologyWoods, thickets, meadows. Described from Siberia.
