Description | Densely tufted, bluish-green; basal shoots with densely crowded, subulate, 3- ribbed leaves; stem filiform, branched, densely glandular; sepals lanceolate, acumi- nate, 3-nerved, longer than the white, obtuse, sometimes reddish petals; capsule slightly longer than sepals. |
Ecology | Rocky and sandy places in arctic lowlands and in the mountains. Regarded as calciphile. |
