DescriptionGlabrous nearly throughout; stems erect or prostrate; leaves fleshy, blunt; stipules truncate or apiculate, broader than long; sepals ovate, mostly longer than the white or pink petals; capsules longer than sepals; seeds brown, 0.8-1.4 mm long, with erose wing or wingless.
EcologySaline or brackish soil. Described from the mouth of the St. Lawrence River.
