DescriptionStems several, from long, slender, branched rootstock, glandular-pubescent; leaves elliptic-lanceolate to ovate- or obovate-lanceolate, acute, glandular-pubescent, ciliolate; pedicels slender, 1-4 cm long; calyx tubular-campanulate, 5-7 mm long, glandular, with acute teeth; petals small, somewhat longer than calyx, with claws narrower than blades, the blades 2-3 mm long; carpophores about 1.5 mm long; seeds black, shining; some flowers staminate, others pistillate.
EcologyWet places. Described from Straits of Juan de Fuca, Slave River.
