DescriptionStems up to 1 meter tall from stout taproot, glabrous below, glandular above, simple or branched; basal leaves bi-ternate, green above, glaucous beneath, gla- brous or pubescent; flowers spreading or pendant, pubescent; sepals and spurs blue or purple; laminae yellowish-white, shorter than petals; follicles upright, with straight styles 2-5 (-10) mm long.
EcologyMoist woods, meadows. Described from the western part of Canada, Bear Lake.
