Description | Stems up to 1 meter tall from stout taproot, glabrous below, glandular above, branched; basal leaves bi-ternate, green above, glaucous beneath, glabrous or some- what pubescent; stem leaves reduced; flowers pendant, somewhat pubescent; se- pals and spurs red, spreading; laminae yellow; stamens longer than lamina, glan- dular-pubescent; follicles with divergent styles 10-15 mm long. | ||
Ecology | Moist woods, mountain slopes. Described from Kamchatka, where, however, it does not occur; probably from collections in Sitka. | ||
