Description | Similar to P. Macounii, but low-growing, densely caespitose; caudex densely covered with the light-brown, dilated bases of previous year’s petioles; leaf blade short, with blunt to somewhat acute lobes; flower buds short, ovate or almost globose; capsule shorter and broader, often as broad as long. | ||
Ecology | Sandy, gravelly soil. | ||
