DescriptionLoosely matted; stem branched, with long, slender, leafy branches; leaves gla- brous or with very few, simple or branched hairs in margin, elliptic-lanceolate; flowering stem ascending, glabrous or with few, simple hairs, with 1 to 2 pairs of opposite or alternating leaves similar to those of sterile shoots; pedicels glabrous, divaricate in fruit; sepals ovate, 3-nerved, blunt, glabrous, scarious-margined; petals 4-6 mm long, golden yellow; silicles oblong, glabrous, reticulated, with slender beak 1 mm long.
EcologyKnown only from the Ogilvie Range, from about 1,200 to 2,100 meters, in alpine meadows below snow melts.
