Description | Rootstock thick, stout, with large buds at top; basal leaves long-petiolated, cor- date, reniform, orbicular or broadly ovate, crenate-dentate, nearly glabrous, ciliate with septate hairs; stem leafless, pubescent with septate hairs; inflorescence with broad, dentate bracts, pubescent with capitate glands; calyx lobes triangular, gla- brous, soon reflexed; petals oblong, clawless, white, about 3 times as long as calyx lobes; filaments subulate; follicles glabrous, with long divergent styles. | ||
