Common namebulblet saxifrage
DescriptionStem and margin of leaves with long, septate hairs; stems erect, simple, with pale bulblets at base; basal leaves long-petiolated, cordate-reniform, 5-7-lobed; stem leaves narrower, with brownish-red bulblets in axils; flower mostly single, terminal; petals white, about 4 times as long as calyx lobes.
EcologyMoist places in the mountains, scree slopes. Described from Alps of Lapland.
