Description | Stems from stout, dark-brown rootstock; basal leaves long-petiolated, with sti- pules at base, 3-foliate, the leaflets sharply crenate-dentate, the terminal 3-lobed; stem glandular-pubescent; sepals ovate, acute, glandular; petals white, linear, subulate, 3 to 4 times as long as calyx lobes; carpels nearly equal when young, un- equal in age. | ||
Ecology | Moist places, forests. Described from northern Asia (where it does not, however, occur) ; type locality probably Kayak Island, Alaska. | ||
Taxonomy notes | Transitions to T. unifoliata not observed within area of concern. |
