DescriptionLong, woody caudex; basal leaves ternate, 3-toothed at apex, strigose-pubescent on both sides; stem short; bractlets lanceolate, shorter than the broader calyx lobes; flowers crowded; petals 5, minute, linear-oblong, yellow, shorter than calyx; sta- mens 5.
EcologyAlpine meadows, snow beds, grassland, in the Yukon to at least 2,000 meters. Described from Lapland, Switzerland, and Scotland.
