Description | Stems erect, from stout, woody caudex; lowest stipules oblong-obovate, the upper narrower, membranaceous; lowest leaves short-petiolated, with 5-15 petiolulate, linear-oblong to lanceolate or sometimes obovate, retuse, somewhat fleshy leaflets; racemes surpassing leaves; flowers numerous; calyx strigillose, with black or white hairs and triangular-subulate teeth, becoming marcescent; petals ochroleucous, with keel bluish at tip; pod erect, ovoid to lance-ovoid, strigillose, on short gynophore. | ||
