DescriptionCaespitose, erect, with branching caudex; leaves 15-25-foliate, alternate, opposite or sometimes subverticillate; leaflets sparsely pubescent above, white-villous below; stipules prominent, with long-attenuate free parts, long-pubescent on back, ciliate and with sausagelike processes in margin; inflorescence more or less capitate, 10-14- flowered; flowers spreading in anthesis; calyx with subulate teeth, half as long as tube; corolla about 20 mm long, purplish-blue; pod grayish-pubescent, with long beak.
EcologySand bars, tundra meadows. One specimen seen.
