DescriptionStem mostly unbranched, appressed-pubescent, from stout caudex and woody root; leaves with 7-15 leaflets, lanceolate to elliptic, glabrous above, appressed- pubescent beneath; inflorescence short; calyx teeth pubescent, linear, subulate, nearly equal; wings with blunt, free auricles; keel truncate; loments pubescent, sessile or very short-stipitate, 3-8-articulated, not winged.
EcologyRocky slopes, river bars, in McKinley Park to about 1,200 meters. Described from Barren Grounds.
