Description | Stems simple or branched from near the base, from stout, long, creeping and branching rhizome; basal leaves small, soon withering; stem leaves numerous, over- lapping, subsessile, oblong-lanceolate to ovate, acute, glabrous, glandular-serrate- dentate; sepals lanceolate; petals yellow, longer than calyx; stigma with oblong- ovate lobes. | ||

Taxonomy notes | A very showy plant. Similar specimens with pink flowers are said to be the hybrid E. luteum X glandulosum (E. Treleasianum Lév.). |
