Description | Glabrous; stem simple or branched above, from stout, many-headed, vertical caudex; lower leaves petiolated, 2—-3-pinnate, ultimate segments ovate, deeply di- vided into acute lanceolate lobes; upper leaves reduced, nearly sessile; umbels with numerous rays; involucre with 5 lanceolate, early-deciduous leaflets; involucels 9— 11, scarious with excurrent midvein; petals white or purplish; fruits broadly ovate; carpels with 5 equally winged ribs. |
Ecology | Wet meadows, gravelly slopes, riverbanks. Described from between Jakutsk and Aldan. |
