| Description | Stem up to 20 cm tall, usually shorter, from a stout, many-headed, vertical caudex, with remains of previous year’s sheaths; leaves all basal, glabrous, mostly 2-pinnate, with acute or somewhat acute teeth; petioles with broad, scarious tooth at base; umbel with 5-20 rays; involucre with several, linear-lanceolate, often toothed or lobed leaves; involucels 5-10; petals obovate, emarginate, white; fruit broadly ovate with thick ribs, the marginal ribs slightly broader. | ||
