Description | Stem stout, hollow, glabrous, often purple, more than 1 meter tall, from septate, tuberous caudex; leaves ternate, pinnate to bipinnate, the upper leaves (beyond the basal pair of leaflets) geniculate and reflexed; leaflets broadly ovate to obovate, sharply serrate, pubescent on veins and in the margin; inflorescence densely pu- berulent, with numerous rays; petals white to pinkish; fruit rounded, the lateral ribs broadly winged, the dorsal narrowly winged. | ||
