Description | Dwarf shrub with ascending, finely puberulent, terete branches; leaves coriaceous, elliptical to obovate, serrate-crenate, with glands in incisions, shiny and glabrous above, paler beneath; inflorescence few-flowered; calyx lobes triangular, more or less glandular, puberulent, especially in margin; corolla ovoid to urceolate; ovary glabrous; fruit globose, white. | ||
Ecology | Mountain slopes. Described from Japan. A single specimen known, from north- eastern Kiska Island. |
