DescriptionShrubs 50-100 cm tall, lowering early, when leaves are half expanded; twigs con- spicuously angled; leaves ovate-elliptic to obovate, entire or mostly with few glandu- lar teeth near base; flowers single in axils; pedicels short, recurved in fruit, not thickened toward apex; corolla pinkish, subglobose; style included; berry globose, blue-black.
EcologyWoods. Described from the west coast of North America. Transitions to V. alaskensis seem to occur.
