Description | Forming dense cushions; branches covered with marcescent, brown to reddish- brown leaves; leaves linear, light green when young, 5-10 mm long, ciliate in mar- gin, covered with scattered, short, simple, (rarely forked) hairs; pedicels short in flower, prolonged in fruit, puberulent; calyx lobes triangular to ovate, somewhat acute to obtuse; corolla pink to purple with obovate lobes. | ||
