DescriptionScapes from thick, long, oblique caudex; leaves oblanceolate, somewhat acute to obtuse, entire or crenate; bracts subulate, acute; calyx lobes lanceolate, acute; corolla tube reflexed, with maroon ring at mouth and yellow ring above, the lobes magenta to lavender; filaments short, dark maroon to black; anthers 7-10 mm blunt; capsule ovoid.
EcologyWet meadows. Described from mountains of California and Oregon.
