DescriptionGlabrous, yellowish-green; stem up to 10 cm tall, often with shorter, slender, basal, flowering branches; basal leaves oblanceolate, obtuse; cauline leaves broad, ovate, more or less clasping; inflorescence more or less capitate; flowers compressed, with broad, ovate bracts; 2 of the calyx lobes broad, obovate-lanceolate, 2 nar- rower, reflexed at tip; corolla twice as long as calyx, yellow or bluish-yellow, tetram- erous, acuminate, slightly dentate in apex; capsule ovate-lanceolate, as long as corolla.
