Description | Stems solitary or several, from branched caudex; basal leaves ovate, obtuse, or somewhat acute, with long, winged petioles, ciliated and more or less tuberculate- pubescent on both sides; cauline leaves narrower than the basal, acute, gradually reduced, subsessile; calyx lobes lanceolate-oblong to lance-linear, acute, pubescent on back; corolla blue, in bud reddish, rarely white, the tube much longer than the calyx; filaments short and broad; style somewhat exserted; nutlets rugulose. | ||
