DescriptionStems from dark-brown caudex; basal leaves long-petiolated, oblong-lanceolate, evenly pubescent from short, tuberculate hairs, glabrous beneath; upper stem leaves broader, sessile; inflorescence crowded; pedicels glabrous or with few hairs; calyx glabrous, the lobes broadly lanceolate, ciliate in margin; corolla blue, the tube about as long as the calyx, the lobes rounded, undulate in margin, emarginate in sinuses; filaments dilated above; style included; nutlets rugulose.
EcologySandy slopes. Described from northwest North America.
