| Taxonomy notes | The closely related G. tétrahit L., also a weed, can be expected to occur in Alaska; it differs in having the stem hispid chiefly on the nodes, the base of the leaves rounded, the middle lobe of the corolla entire, the dark markings only at the base, and the flowers larger. |
