DescriptionStems rooting at nodes, mostly ascending; leaves ovate to oblong, obscurely crenulate, rounded at both ends, the lowermost petiolated; racemes terminal; upper bracts narrowly oblong, the lower passing into leaves, longer than pedicels; calyx lobes oblong; corolla white or pale blue with darker lines; capsule broader than long, obcordate with rounded base, ciliate.
EcologyRoadsides, waste places; an introduced weed. Described from Europe and North America.
