Description | Stem single, thick, decumbent, from thick, short caudex with thin sheaths at apex; basal leaves 1-3, ovate to nearly orbicular, densely crenate-dentate, petio- lated; stem leaves smaller, sessile; inflorescence an ovate to cylindrical spike; lower bracts dentate, the upper entire; calyx lobes ciliated; corolla diluted blue, tube bent at base; upper lip entire, lower with 2 to 3 lobes; filaments united with margins of upper lip. | ||
