DescriptionStem puberulent above, simple, single or few together, from filiform-branched rhizome; leaves lanceolate in outline, pinnatifid, with broad central part and small, ovate, toothed pinnae, the basal long-petiolated, gradually reduced upward;. in- florescence short, flat, with horizontal, light-yellow flowers; upper lip arched, with beak at right angle to lip; lower lip 3-lobed, as long as the upper, or somewhat shorter; capsule lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, markedly acute.
EcologyAlpine meadows, in the mountains to at least 1,000 meters.
