Description | Glabrous; stem simple or branched, from thin taproot; basal leaves small or lack- ing; stem leaves lanceolate-oblong, remotely pinnately lobed to pinnatifid; segments entire or toothed; inflorescence capitate in bud, later elongated, with remote, axil- lary flowers; bracts leaflike, pinnatifid; calyx 2-cleft with lacerate and lobed seg- ments; flowers up to 12 mm long, simple; tip of galea darker, tube straight; galea with pair of broad teeth at base, lacking teeth at tip; capsule ovate, mucronate. | ||
