DescriptionSimilar to subsp. Langsdorffii, but often taller, with narrower leaves and narrower rachis; spike narrower, less dense, often with long bracts also in upper part; corolla smaller, with narrower galea and smaller teeth.
EcologyIn the mountains to at least 2,000 meters.
