Description | Stem pubescent with septate hairs, single, from thin rhizome; basal leaves long- petiolated, oblong in outline, pinnate, the pinnae pinnately cleft, the ultimate seg- ments callus-toothed; stem leaves 1 to 2, less dissected and shorter-petiolated; in- florescence capitate; bracts pinnatifid; calyx with leaflike lobes; corolla yellowish or the upper lip becoming rose-colored in age; upper lip large, broad, curved, with very short beak, the lip twice as long as the straight tube; lower lip 3-cleft, pubes- cent at throat, half as long as the upper; filaments pubescent at base. | ||
