DescriptionGlabrous, often reddish, stem, simple, from short caudex with fusiform, yellow- ish roots; basal leaves linear-oblong, petiolated, pinnate, sections incised; inflores- cence narrow, few-flowered; bracts short, linear-lanceolate; calyx as long as tube or longer, with 5 lanceolate teeth; corolla erect, yellow with blackish-red tip to galea; galea much longer than the small lower lip; style not protruding; capsule lan- ceolate, more or less falcate, 2-3 times longer than calyx.
EcologyMoist places. Described from Lapland (and Switzerland, where it does not occur).
