Description | Stems erect, quadrangular, branched, from creeping rhizome; leaves 4 in whorl, linear-lanceolate to elliptic, 3-veined, sessile, often with sterile branches in axils; flowers numerous in terminal panicles; corolla white, 4-lobed; fruit densely hispid in Alaska—Yukon plant. | ||
