DescriptionStem from stout rhizome; leaves chiefly cauline, the lower pairs reduced, the middle petiolate, pinnatifid with large terminal segment, the upper sessile, reduced; inflorescence compact, becoming diffuse in fruit; bractlets pubescent; corolla white, its lobes much shorter than the somewhat gibbous tube; stamens exserted; calyx segments 12-20, plumose.
EcologyMoist meadows in the lowlands.
