DescriptionStems from stout, branched rhizome, glabrous or nearly so; basal leaves glabrous, petiolate, simple, oblong to narrowly ovate; cauline leaves subsessile, pinnatifid, the terminal lobe ovate-oblong; inflorescence compact, diffuse in fruit; some flowers perfect, others pistillate; corolla white, lobes about as long as tube stamens ex- serted; plumose calyx segments 9-15.
EcologyMoist places. Described from the Clearwater River, northern Alberta
