Description | Stems from branching caudex, leafy at base, naked above, glandular and more or ~ less villous; leaves oblanceolate to spatulate, entire or slightly toothed in apex, vil- lous to glabrate; heads solitary; involucral bracts acuminate, viscid-villous with purplish hairs; ligules white when young, purplish in age, mostly inrolled; pappus reddish-purple; achenes short-haired. | ||
