DescriptionStem erect, stout, with elongate, thyrsoid or corymbiform panicle; leaves ob- lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, ciliolate; heads mostly several on spreading-ascend- ing peduncles; involucral bracts long-attenuate, sparsely hispid, viscid or nearly glabrous; ligules lilac; ring of tubular pistillate flowers between the ligulate mar- ginal and the perfect central flowers.
