Description | Matted; loosely caespitose with short stolons; basal leaves spatulate-oblanceolate, appressed-tomentose on both sides; stem leaves 5-7, the upper as long as the inter- nodes or longer, with short, flat, brown, scarious appendages; heads mostly com- pressed; involucral bracts broad, obtuse, brownish-green to brown, the inner with dirty white to brownish attenuate tips. | ||
