Description | Usually up to 8 cm tall (rarely to 15 cm); tufted with short, ascending stolons; basal leaves spatulate, rounded in apex, often mucronate, glabrous above, white- tomentose beneath; stem leaves linear, acute; inflorescence compressed, white- woolly, with 3-6 heads; involucral bracts white or pink, in staminate plants (which are the more common) obovate, blunt, in the pistillate plants lanceolate, somewhat acute. | ||
