DescriptionStrongly scented; stem simple or forking above, from long, slender rootstock; leaves lanceolate, 3—4 times pinnate with lanceolate-subulate segments, the lower long-petiolated; heads in dense terminal corymbs; involucral bracts oblong, blunt, more or less glabrous, with broad, brown or blackish, scarious margin; ray flowers 3-toothed, white, pink, or reddish; disk flowers white or cream-colored.
EcologyAn introduced weed. Described from Europe. Circumpolar map tentative.
